Day 1 arrival Delhi

Be mesmerized by the charm of Old Delhi. Visit the extensive Red Fort (Closed on Monday) (Photo – Stop), the Jama Masjid Mosque, India’s largest and renowned as the most elegant mosque in India. Enjoy a rickshaw ride and visit the old winding lanes of ChandniChowk market. ChandniChowk is a special place to be in. It's a unique market which carries the very essence of ancient India. On the narrow streets, you can see a number of shops that are lined together. Also visit the spice market- KhariBaoli. Take a trip down history at Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Afternoon we take in the sights of New Delhi including the India Gate, a war memorial commemorating the Indian soldiers killed in the World War II. Drive past the magnificent Presidential Palace (from outside) and Government buildings. Visit Humayun’s Tomb with its several tombs of past Mughal Emperors. Overnight in DelhiDay 3 Delhi – Agra
Post Breakfast we will depart to the land of the beautiful TajMahal, Agra is dotted with many beautiful monuments built by the mighty Mughal emperors. During its time Agra was a centre of culture and art, learning and commerce. The famous seat of Mughals, the city also remained the capital of India during Aurangzeb's rule and finally came under British rule in 1803. Make it a point to cherish the delectable Mughal cuisine on your visit to Agra.Afternoon you will visit the Agra Fort located at a bend on the Yamuna River. The fort built by three generations of Mughal emperors impeccably fulfills the military requirements of a fort while being an example of intricate, artistic detail.
At sunset, find yourself at the Mehtab Bagh, a garden complex on the opposite side of the TajMahal that was uncovered during recent excavations. See the TajMahal from a different perspective before you return to your hotel. Overnight in Agra
Day 4 Agra - Orchha via Gwalior
Feast your eyes to the morning beauty of the TajMahal, the manifestation of the wealth and luxury of Mughal art as seen in its architecture, garden design, painting, and calligraphy. After breakfast drive to Orchha, en-route visit Gwalior, A historical town renowned for the sacred temples, outstanding palaces, as well as glorious monuments was founded by the King Surajesan. Visit Gwalior fort and proceed drive to Orchha, Check in at hotel and relax.Day 6 Orchha – Khajuraho
Today proceed to Khajurajo, A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is noted for its erotic temples. It is the only village that houses a huge collection of beautiful temples, divided into three geographical sections on the west, east and south. The murals and paintings in the temples illustrate the life and eras of the Chandelas. Originally there were said to be 80 temples at Khajuraho, of which about 22 remain today. Morning visit Eastern Group of Temples (Bramha Temple, Javari Temple, Vamana Temple), Southern Group of Temples (Duladeo Temple, ChaturBhuj Temple) and depart to Bandhavgarh National Park by road. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve spread over Vindhya ranges of Central India. It has 32 hills and 39 caves in which some are man-made & rest of the caves are natural. Do both morning & evening game drives of Bandhavgarh. Here you can do jungle safaris in 2 safari zones: Tala, & Magadhi. This morning proceeds to visit Sanchi - Archeological Museum; Ashoka Pillar erected by Ashoka, this stone pillar stands close to the southern gateway of the Great Stupa no 1. Day 19 Aurangabad / excursion Ellora
Today Proceed Excursion to Ellora(Closed on Tuesday) (30 Kms / 1 Hrs) - The landscape is cool and soothing, besides the hill caves could serve as the perfect destination for the city dwellers as well as tourists obsessed with crowded localities and polluted environments. The most attractive caves are numbered 2, 5,6,10, and 11; however, all the caves are to be visited if one wants to explore the site fully. Cave 2 is interesting for the Verandah and the Sravasti tales depicted on the walls. Cave No 5 consists of a large hall, with porches, aisles, and decorated columns. The central shrine houses a seated Buddha and its entrance is exotically decorated with Bodhisattva adorned with jewelry and headdress. Cave 6 contains some interesting Buddhism figures, among them the Analokiteshwara with lotus, Mahamayuri and other small figures are good pieces of artistic expression in rock sculptures.
